Description

You will lead the analysis, design, and development of enterprise systems and sub-systems, ensuring technical solutions meet complex customer requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed analysis and functional design efforts, including JAD and JAR sessions.
• Own the end-to-end development lifecycle, including Java programming, code reviews, and defect triage.
• Design and implement complex functionality for the MCP system while maintaining technical documentation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through unit, assembly, and system test processes.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer to state personnel via documentation and cross-training.

Required Skills

• 20+ years in Solution Architecture, EAI, and shared services.
• 20+ years of expertise in Java/J2EE, JSP/Servlets, JDBC, and WebLogic.
• 20+ years of experience with Oracle DB, PL/SQL, and SQL.
• 20+ years aligning Enterprise Architecture with business processes.
• 15+ years in framework evaluation and recommendation.
• 10+ years incorporating new technologies into enterprise IT.
• 10+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years with JIRA, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, and Confluence.
• Demonstrated experience with Cloud DB (AWS/Azure).

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years experience with CalPERS or Government Benefits Systems.
