Description

You will lead end-to-end solution design for Itron AMR upgrade projects for utility customers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate system requirements into functional designs for AMR upgrade projects.
• Review service provider design documentation to ensure implementation meets original requirements.
• Resolve technical issues impacting system requirements and validate change request integration.
• Coordinate with product vendors, partners, customers, and offshore teams for project delivery.
• Manage handover of application process materials and facilitate knowledge transfer to Design and Assurance functions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years designing IT/OT architecture for the Utility Industry.
• Deep expertise in Smart Metering (AMR / AMI), Smart Grid, and communication networks.
• Proven experience implementing Itron AMR products.
• Direct experience delivering solutions for utility customers, preferably Gas Utilities.
• Expertise in security standards including NIST, NERC-CIP, and ISO 27001.
• Strong knowledge of integration frameworks and API-based integration design.
• Experience applying architectural tools and methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge or experience with Itron Temetra products.
