Description

Act as a hands-on architect in Banking & Capital Markets, driving business transformation through technical solution design.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners to translate business needs into long-term technology roadmaps.
• Build and present product architectures to senior technical directors and architecture boards for approval.
• Contribute directly to the design and development of large-scale banking platforms.
• Maintain code quality through static and dynamic analysis, security vulnerability scans, and CI/CD pipeline gating.
• Mentor project teams and plan technical deliverables to meet project goals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture design and development.
• Extensive experience with Java, J2EE, and RESTful services.
• Proven expertise in database development and large-scale microservices design.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions using GCP or Azure.
• Experience with integration platforms and message brokers such as Kafka, WebMethods, IBM AppConnect, ServiceMix, or ActiveMQ.
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in technical stakeholder management and client management.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or a related technical field.
