Description

Lead the architecture and design of a centralized pricing database for actuarial modeling, defining data strategy and integration roadmaps with stakeholders.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable data ingestion and transformation solutions using AWS, Databricks, SQL, and CData.
• Integrate the InsureMO rating engine and expose APIs for downstream consumption.
• Direct an offshore development team to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage data governance, security, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in architecture or engineering roles.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS and Databricks.
• Proficiency in SQL, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Airflow.
• Experience with CData and RESTful APIs using JSON and Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of InsureMO or eBaoTech rating engines.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Terraform, and CloudFormation.
• Understanding of Data Governance, Unity Catalog, and AWS deployment tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake.
