Description

You will design and implement mission-critical clinical telephony architectures, ensuring patient safety and HIPAA compliance. You own the end-to-end solution from carrier integration to real-time observability.

Responsibilities

• Architect 24/7 mission-critical telephony systems with carrier redundancy and SIP trunking.
• Design HIPAA-compliant workflows for PHI in call metadata, recording consent, and audit trails.
• Build scalable multi-tenant IVR solutions using Twilio Studio, TwiML, and Webhooks.
• Implement .NET 8 / C# backends with ASP.NET Core and Redis for session state management.
• Ensure carrier-level reliability for on-call escalation chains and provider routing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in .NET 8, C#, and ASP.NET Core.
• Deep expertise in Twilio Voice SDK, Studio Flows, TwiML, and TaskRouter.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services, specifically CloudFront and S3 for production IVR audio.
• Experience with Redis for session state and high-performance caching.
• Proven track record in SIP trunking, DTMF/ASR fallback design, and carrier integration.
• Healthcare communications experience, including understanding of clinical SLAs and patient safety implications.
• Ability to design for high availability and fault tolerance in clinical environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Twilio Flex, Twilio Notify at scale, or Twilio Event Streams.
• Background in Genesys PureConnect reverse-engineering or legacy PBX migration.
• Experience with Hangfire for background job orchestration or AWS Lambda for IVR logic.
