Description

You will lead the design, planning, and execution of a legacy platform modernization program to stabilize, upgrade, and migrate monolithic workloads to AWS.

Responsibilities

• Define a three-phase modernization roadmap covering system stabilization, OS upgrades, and cloud migration.
• Architect and implement an active-active, multi-site architecture to improve scalability and resiliency.
• Direct the migration of the platform from legacy stacks to AWS and transition code repositories from SVN to Git.
• Guide a team of C, Linux, and Cloud specialists through OS porting and compiler-level fixes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design.
• Deep expertise in C, Linux internals, and Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Batch, IAM, Networking, and Security.
• Proven track record of modernizing monolithic applications and migrating workloads to the cloud.
• Experience designing active-active, multi-site architectures.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and Git migration.
• Ability to manage OS upgrades, porting, and library compatibility fixes.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the automotive domain or similar regulated industries.
