You will design and implement technical solutions across legacy and cloud-native environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Migrate monolithic codebases to microservices architectures.
• Design enterprise-scale services using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Conduct cost-benefit and risk analyses for architectural changes.
• Tune application performance and implement monitoring strategies.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers in Agile settings.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of technology experience as a Solution Architect.
• Deep background in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with container technologies: VMware Tanzu, OpenShift, or AWS EKS.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational databases (Oracle, Postgres).
• Expertise in REST API design using Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0.
• Implementation of API security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID, SAML, and 2-way SSL.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, and SonarQube.
• Experience with event-driven platforms like Apache Kafka, Confluent Kafka, IBM MQ, or AWS SQS.
• Practical application of Domain Driven Design, BDD, and TDD.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with testing tools such as Cucumber, Gatling, and JUnit.
• Familiarity with Blue/Green deployment strategies.
