Description

You will lead the design, planning, and execution of the Legacy Platform modernization program.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define the modernization roadmap across stabilization, OS modernization, and cloud migration phases.
• Architect and implement an active-active, multi-site architecture for scalability and resilience.
• Oversee the cloud migration strategy to AWS, ensuring security and performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to establish CI/CD pipelines and manage code repository migration.
• Guide specialists in porting the Legacy Platform to modern operating systems.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design, focused on legacy modernization.
• Proven expertise in C, Linux internals, and integration of monolithic applications.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Step Functions, Batch, IAM, Networking, Security).
• Expertise in operating system upgrades, porting, and compiler-level fixes.
• Experience designing active-active, multi-site architectures.
• Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD and Git Migration.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
