Description

Design and implement large-scale Big Data systems, owning end-to-end delivery from initial design to production deployment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Big Data solutions from scratch, defining HDFS infrastructure requirements.
• Lead implementation of Big Data systems in an Architect or Design capacity.
• Administer Big Data solutions and manage large-scale environments using Linux tools.
• Provide technical advice on Big Data concepts, technologies, and overall landscapes.
• Coordinate across Scrum teams to ensure delivery alignment in Agile rituals.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total IT experience with at least 4 years focused on Big Data.
• 3+ years of strong Informatica BDM experience.
• Proven experience implementing at least two Big Data systems in design or architect roles.
• Expertise in setting up and administering Hadoop and Spark environments.
• Hands-on experience with the Hadoop stack: Sqoop, HDFS, MapReduce, HBase, Pig, Hive, and Oozie.
• Proficiency with Linux tools and configuration management at scale.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams to handle big data domain deliveries.
