Description

You will act as a technical advisor and product specialist to drive technical wins during the sales cycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Work with prospects to identify business and technical requirements.
• Manage demonstrations, Proof of Concept (PoC), and evaluation stages of the sales cycle.
• Solve technical issues and customer pain points through creative solutions and best practices.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to evolve solution messaging.
• Ensure customer value realization by educating users on IT trends and technical implementations.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in SOA and virtualization technologies with a technical selling or consultative perspective.
• 3+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as consulting, pre-sales, or technical support.
• Proficiency with messaging technologies including REST, Swagger/OpenAPI, SOAP, WSDL, HTTP/HTTPS, RabbitMQ/AMQP, Kafka, IBM MQ, and JMS.
• Strong experience with XML and JSON, specifically XSD, XSLT, and XPath.
• Experience with database environments using SQL and JDBC.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Jython, JavaScript, Groovy, Windows Batch, or Unix shell.
• Experience working in Windows environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Unix and/or Linux experience.
• Experience with Docker and Docker Compose.
