Description

You will design and deliver technical architectures for big data and data science projects in a customer-facing capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical project delivery by managing scope and timelines for data platform projects.
• Design architectures for big data technologies and data science implementations.
• Collaborate with domestic and overseas stakeholders through fluent English communication.
• Manage developer operations and CI/CD pipelines for production deployments.
• Write and optimize code using SQL, Python, or Scala.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience as a Solution Architect.
• Experience in a post-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role focusing on Big Data or Data Science.
• Proficiency in SQL and either Python or Scala.
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud ecosystem: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
• Proven track record of managing technical project delivery and scope.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks Apps, application development, and Databricks certification.
• Background in financial markets, including market making or trading.
• Comfort working within Linux environments.
