Description

You will own the enterprise-level architectural design for complex web and mobile solutions.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define multi-layer architecture for Web and Mobile apps, covering client, BFF/orchestration, API gateway, and service integration layers.
• Architect experience APIs and orchestration patterns across UCPC, UCPR, Location, and related services.
• Guide engineering teams through design reviews, code reviews, and solution implementation.
• Lead architectural decisions concerning mobile/web frameworks, caching, CDN strategy, API design, security, and observability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, CIAM, Payments, Anti Fraud, and platform teams to align on solution design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of prior engineering experience progressing into architecture.
• Strong background in mobile app development.
• Experience designing and implementing BFF/Orchestration layers.
• Familiarity with API Gateways (Apigee), CDN strategies, caching, and service integration.
• Understanding of OAuth/OIDC, CIAM flows, and client-side token security.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native design.
• Demonstrated ability to define multi-layer application architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with UCPC, UCPR, and Location services.
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements including performance, reliability, and scalability.
