Description

You will design resilient, scalable infrastructure solutions spanning data centers, colocation environments, and Microsoft Azure, with a focus on banking compliance and operational readiness.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technical requirements into end-to-end solution architectures for enterprise data centers and Azure.
• Define hosting patterns, fault domains, redundancy assumptions, and disaster recovery postures aligned to RTO/RPO expectations.
• Ensure designs align with Azure landing zone principles including identity, network topology, security, and governance.
• Architect for supportability by defining monitoring telemetry, runbooks, ownership models, and lifecycle plans.
• Review solutions through architecture governance checkpoints to ensure standards, compliance, and operational rigor.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in solution architecture, infrastructure architecture, or platform engineering.
• Deep understanding of data center and colocation hosting models, including redundancy and capacity planning.
• Strong knowledge of Azure platform fundamentals, including identity/access, resource organization, and network connectivity.
• Experience designing disaster recovery strategies, including failover/failback concepts and resiliency trade-offs.
• Proficiency in creating architecture diagrams, dependency maps, data flows, and decision records.
• Ability to guide delivery teams in Agile/DevOps environments without becoming an implementation bottleneck.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Solutions Architect certification or equivalent Azure architecture credential.
• Experience in financial services or regulated environments with strong compliance awareness.
