Description

You will lead the technical migration of MOVEit jobs to IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG), owning the design of automated, repeatable migration patterns.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to an agile project team during SFG migrations.
• Design and implement codified, repeatable migration patterns for varying job complexities.
• Build a migration factory using codified scripts and common plugins to automate job transitions.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design integrated, scalable solutions.
• Create test plans for post-migration activities and implement automated migration processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
• Proficiency in .NET, Java/J2EE, SQL, XSLT, and BPEL/BPML.
• Deep knowledge of integration patterns and protocols including AS2, PGP/GPG, S/MIME, HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, and REST.
• Experience with industry data standards such as ACH, ANSI X12, EDIFACT, HIPAA, and SWIFT.
• Hands-on work with enterprise databases including Oracle RAC, DB2, and MS SQL Server Enterprise.
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows shell scripting.
• Expertise in capacity planning, scalability, performance, and load testing.
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, and security standards.
• Proven ability to manage multi-shore teams and work with senior executives.
