Description

You will design and implement data integration solutions for customers using the Segment platform. You will own the technical onboarding process, ensuring engagements stay within budget and scope while maximizing platform value.

Responsibilities

  • Instrument Segment APIs across web, mobile, and server stacks to capture event and profile data.
  • Design data structures that flow seamlessly into downstream integrations and SQL warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks.
  • Guide customers on syncing data to cloud warehouses and implementing audience segmentation using relational database structures.
  • Develop internal processes to ensure consistency across onboarding engagements and improve customer success.
  • Collaborate with the product team to iterate on platform functionality and library improvements.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience delivering technical engagements in a consultation or services environment.
  • Strong client-side JavaScript skills and experience working with APIs and server-side languages.
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and design robust data architectures.
  • Experience with cloud and data warehouse technologies, specifically Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders, including project managers, marketers, engineers, and business partners.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience implementing or working closely with Destination partners in the MarTech ecosystem.
  • Previous experience as a services consultant.
