Description

Design the technical framework for a digital evidence study project focused on secure storage and integration for the Connecticut law enforcement community.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design technical frameworks for secure digital evidence storage and operations.
• Collaborate with police departments, the Division of Criminal Justice, and the Judicial Branch to define technical requirements.
• Develop architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices for a scalable solution.
• Manage project lifecycles including resource allocation, task management, and timeline adherence.
• Align technical requirements with product design and engineering teams to ensure effective software solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in digital forensics, software engineering, architectural design, or project management.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Expertise in architectural design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Deep experience in digital forensics, specifically the research, analysis, and management of digital evidence.
• Proficiency with IBM Content Manager (formerly FileNet) and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Experience with integration services including MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Apache Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of APIs and internet web services.
• Proficiency in relational databases and using SQL for data management and integrity.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with digital evidence management and secure data sharing within law enforcement agencies.
