You will design technology solutions and integration strategies that align with long-term strategic goals and regulatory requirements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level solution concepts, including system components, interfaces, and data flows.
• Advise on integration strategies to ensure seamless data exchange across internal and external platforms.
• Provide guidance on information security strategies, including access management, encryption, and threat detection.
• Ensure all systems and processes comply with relevant state and federal legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a comprehensive technology roadmap and oversee major technology projects to ensure quality standards are met.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in technology consulting or advisory roles.
• 10+ years in a senior leadership position.
• At least 5 years of unemployment insurance experience working with a state department of labor.
• Deep expertise in solution architecture and system integration.
• Strong understanding of IT security concepts and risk analysis.
• Experience with technology governance frameworks.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations affecting government technology systems.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical leadership.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working directly with government agencies.
