Description

You will lead the architecture, design, and documentation for a custom-built software solution replacing the legacy FACS mainframe system with an Azure Cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the transition strategy from COBOL and IDMS mainframe systems to Azure Cloud capabilities.
• Design and document application architecture, including internal and external components and interfaces for systems integration.
• Build and extend the architectural runway to support delivery velocity and future business requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Analysts to document current and future state business drivers and processes.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in solutions architecture or a related technical role.
• Experience with COBOL and IDMS mainframe environments.
• Proficiency with BPMN and ArchiMate modeling languages.
• Experience working within an Azure Cloud tenant.
• Knowledge of Agile Product Delivery methodologies.
• Ability to design interfaces for complex systems integration and data sharing.
• Experience working with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.

Preferred Skills

• Alignment of technology decisions and blueprints with the Enterprise Architecture Framework based on The TOGAF Standard.
