Description

Design and document large-scale IT systems, modeling business, application, and technology layers using ArchiMate, UML, or BPMN 2.0.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect modern applications using event-driven, microservices, and web-queue-worker patterns.
• Design cloud services and hybrid solutions that interface with on-premises systems.
• Gather and document technical requirements through collaboration with business and technical users.
• Manage client expectations and implement change management initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years designing systems architectures using SOA-based technologies, including SOAP and REST.
• 10+ years designing IT solutions adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• 10+ years managing multiple tasks and priorities in cross-functional environments.
• 5+ years as a Development Lead or Application Architect.
• 5+ years in Agile product development teams.
• 5+ years architecting applications using Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• 5+ years experience with TOGAF frameworks.
• 5+ years using Mainframe Modernization Patterns like Strangler Fig.
• 2+ years using Enterprise Architecture tools such as Bizzdesign or LucidChart.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years working in State Government.
