Description

You will design, deploy, and manage DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) infrastructure, focusing on AWS cloud migrations and highly available services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain AWS Route 53 DNS infrastructure to ensure scalability and high availability.
• Inventory existing DNS systems and collaborate with stakeholders to architect modern cloud-based solutions.
• Implement DNSSEC, DNS views, and security policies to prevent spoofing and enforce access control.
• Configure and deploy physical or virtual appliances, including OS and software upgrades.
• Lead troubleshooting for complex DDI issues and perform disaster recovery testing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a DNS Engineer.
• Expertise in DNS protocols, DNSSEC, BIND, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Hands-on experience with AWS DNS migration and Route 53.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, DNS over TLS (DoT), and DNS over HTTPS (DoH).
• Experience executing migrations between various DDI OEM platforms.
• Proficiency with Python, Perl, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and API interaction.
• Knowledge of network automation for UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Strong understanding of DNS security, including DDoS mitigation and DNS firewall configurations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex networking and performance issues.

Preferred Skills

• Infoblox Certified Implementation Engineer (ICIE) or AWS Solutions Architect certification.
