Description

Define target state architecture for application, data, integration, security, and operations domains.

You will own the modernization roadmap, data rationalization blueprints, and non-functional requirements while guiding engineering squads through delivery of technical stories.

Responsibilities

• Define target state architecture including domain boundaries, service decomposition, and cloud reference patterns.
• Create and maintain modernization roadmaps using iterative cutovers and strangler fig patterns.
• Establish non-functional requirements (NFRs) and SLAs/SLOs for availability, performance, and cost.
• Lead data discovery, profiling, and build the data rationalization blueprint.
• Translate architecture into epics and technical stories, guiding squads through delivery.

Required Skills

• 8–12+ years in software engineering or architecture, with 3–5+ years leading legacy modernization programs.
• Hands-on architecture experience across application, data, and cloud domains.
• Proven delivery of data migrations at scale (TB+), including CDC and high-fidelity reconciliation.
• Strong cloud architecture skills in AWS and/or Azure (networking, IAM, storage, compute, managed databases, messaging, monitoring).
• Solid understanding of security and compliance (encryption, secrets, least privilege, auditability).
• Experience with AWS, Windows Azure, Kafka, Snowflake, and ETL processes.
• Experience with Java development.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Databricks and Informatica.
