Description

Design and oversee solution architecture for key projects, ensuring technical strategies align with business requirements and enterprise standards.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and cost-efficient architectures using modular design principles and best security practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and cross-functional technical partners to identify problems and create new business capabilities.
• Provide architectural direction within Scrum teams, participating in daily ceremonies and mentoring technical staff through complex challenges.
• Evaluate design options by creating high-level cost estimates and assessing high availability and disaster recovery requirements.
• Conduct quality and security assurance by developing metrics and ensuring adherence to automated code review processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience, including at least 3 years as a developer and 3 years as a solution architect.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Python, .NET, or similar application programming languages.
• Experience with AWS services, including Lambda, Kinesis, SNS, and SQS.
• Hands-on experience with event streaming and messaging brokers like Apache Kafka.
• Knowledge of microservices, serverless, and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code via Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and API management tools like Apigee or Amazon API Gateway.
• Competency in SQL databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solution Architect certification.
• TOGAF certification.
