Description

You will own the architecture and technical direction for complex data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data mesh and data lake solutions, covering data ingestion, validation, and orchestration using Databricks, Starburst, Collibra, and Immuta within AWS.
• Create reusable data management and integration patterns and review them during architectural review boards.
• Provide technical leadership to the data engineering team on implementing solutions using the core technology stack.
• Establish and enforce data quality standards, governance policies, and data management best practices.
• Lead and coordinate domain technical and business discussions on future architecture direction.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience across the full project lifecycle: design through production.
• Advanced knowledge of data engineering and analytics tools, specifically Databricks, Immuta, Starburst, Collibra, and AWS.
• Subject matter expertise across multiple solution patterns.
• Strong understanding of business processes and enterprise knowledge.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading successful technical teams.
• Advanced problem-solving and communication skills.
• Familiarity with data security, contingency planning, and compliance.
