Description

You will design and implement cloud-native solutions across GCP and AWS environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define high-level solution intent and assign responsibilities for major logical components.
• Develop architecture deliverables including usage, cost of ownership, and failure analysis models.
• Split and prioritize work to meet non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical oversight during implementation to ensure alignment with solution intent.
• Partner with Engineering and SRE teams to analyze outages and provide remediation steps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years architecting and developing software in public cloud environments (GCP, AWS).
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, Java, Go, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience with microservices best practices and design patterns.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and immutable data management patterns such as CQRS.
• Knowledge of systems, storage, networking, security, and databases.
• Experience monitoring infrastructure and application uptime to ensure performance objectives.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tooling and practices.
• BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent job experience.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud Certification.
• Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and security/compliance requirements.
