Description

You will design and implement technical solutions for banking and capital markets platforms in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product owners to build technology roadmaps aligned with business needs.
• Design product architectures and present them to architecture boards and senior technical directors for approval.
• Contribute to the design and development of large-scale platforms.
• Mentor project teams and monitor technical deliverables to ensure project goals are met.
• Maintain code quality through static and dynamic analysis, security scans, and CI/CD pipeline gating.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software architecture design and development.
• Expertise in Java, J2EE, REST, and database development.
• Proven experience designing microservices at scale.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions in GCP or Azure.
• Experience with integration platforms or message brokers such as Kafka, Tibco, WebMethods, IBM AppConnect, ServiceMix, or ActiveMQ.
• Strong ability to facilitate design discussions and communicate architectural decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with agile and scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability in cost estimation and defining delivery approaches.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Science, or a related technical field.
