Responsibilities
Primary Purpose of the Role

• Develop and maintain respective architecture framework/solution that supports the most efficient, reliable, scalable, and secure solutions to meet business needs and technology strategy
• Plan, evaluate, recommend and design architectural solutions in compliance with enterprise standards
• Contribute to, design and/or develop an architecture framework including technology domain architecture strategy, policies, guiding principles and standards

Architecture & Design

• Work with CoE partners and other Architects to understand security standards, risks and ratify solution security design
• Research/analyze business requirements to evaluate and recommend optimal solutions within technology architecture
• Review project detailed solution architecture and design ensuring it meets requirements and complies with architectural and security standards
• Provide sign-off on detailed design
• Provide expert consultation and participate as a subject matter expert on projects of moderate to high risk and complexity

Project Delivery & Governance

• Contribute to the development of project plans by providing input and manage projects/initiatives by directing assigned resources
• Communicate project status and provide timely escalation of issues
• Work with Technology Systems Analysts to develop a Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure end-to-end traceability
• Build consensus and facilitate collaboration and decision-making within/across business units
• Ensure projects are compliant with technology domain architecture and design/operate processes
• Comply with well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards and project management disciplines

Strategy & Compliance

• Support the development, documentation, communication and execution of a comprehensive strategy, policies and solutions
• Conduct pre and post implementation reviews, ensuring all technical solutions have met business requirements
• Contribute to and/or develop the process by which decisions will be made regarding technology standards
• Protect/enhance the security, availability of technology, brand integrity and shareholder value
• Identify enhancements and gaps in architectural frameworks, standards and patterns
• Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with emerging industry trends

Leadership & Collaboration

• May develop and/or contribute to negotiations of third party contracts/agreements
• Participate in knowledge transfer with senior management, the team, other technical areas and business units
• Work effectively as a team, supporting other members in achieving business objectives
• Act as a lead expert resource in the exchange of architectural information for project teams
• Generally reports to Senior Managing Architect or above

Required Skillsets
1. Clienture Cloud: Strong experience with Clienture Cloud services and architecture, including design, implementation, and management of cloud solutions.
2. High-Throughput Eventing/Messaging Systems: Experience designing and tuning high-volume eventing and/or notification/messaging systems with understanding of scalability and performance optimization.
3. Kafka / Confluent Cloud: Strong experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent Cloud for event streaming and messaging architectures.
4. Solutions Architecture: 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture with expertise in designing scalable, secure, and efficient technology solutions.
5. Financial Industry Experience: Experience working within the financial services industry, understanding of banking systems and regulatory requirements.
6. Cloud-First Architecture: Experience in delivering cloud-first architectures with understanding of cloud-native design patterns and best practices.
7. Enterprise Standards Compliance: Ability to design solutions that comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and governance frameworks.
8. Technical Leadership: Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to work independently and provide expert consultation on complex projects.
9. Project Management: Experience contributing to project planning, managing initiatives, and directing assigned resources while communicating project status.
10. Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to build consensus and facilitate collaboration across business units to ensure consistent application of IT strategy.

Preferred Skillsets

• AmClienton Connect: Experience with AmClienton Connect for cloud-based contact center solutions and customer engagement platforms.
• AWS/GCP Cloud Platforms: Experience with AmClienton Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in addition to Clienture Cloud expertise.
• Digital Banking Channels: Experience with Canadian digital banking channels and customer-facing technology solutions
