Description

Design and govern secure, scalable cloud architectures and event-driven systems for financial services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and validate architecture frameworks ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and security policies.
• Review detailed solution designs and provide sign-off for projects of moderate to high complexity.
• Develop high-throughput eventing and messaging systems using Kafka and Confluent Cloud.
• Lead project governance, including status communication, risk escalation, and requirements traceability.
• Collaborate with CoE partners to define technology domain strategies and conduct pre/post-implementation reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in solutions architecture within the financial services industry.
• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proven experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent Cloud for event streaming architectures.
• Deep understanding of cloud-first design patterns, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Ability to design solutions that meet strict regulatory and enterprise governance requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical leadership and stakeholder management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience negotiating third-party contracts or managing vendor relationships.
• Knowledge of banking systems and specific regulatory compliance frameworks.
