Description

Design and implement end-to-end software solutions for the payment industry, owning system architecture and integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end flows and component architectures by gathering requirements from Product teams and subject matter experts.
• Develop API specifications aligned with OpenAPI/Swagger standards and build software components using Java and the Spring Framework ecosystem.
• Analyze and integrate new software technologies to enhance product functionality and create technical documentation including State Diagrams, Sequence flow Diagrams, and API designs.
• Implement security practices for data transmission and persistence within cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Security, Webflux, Actuator, Cloud).
• Experience with RestAPI, Hibernate, Kafka, and Redis.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata in Unix environments.
• Practical knowledge of Cloud environments including GCP, AWS, Azure, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Deep understanding of the Payment industry, including eCommerce (Card Present/Not Present), Digital Wallets, and ACH.
• Experience with payment gateways and ISO specs for card-originated interchange messaging.
• Proficiency with GIT, BitBucket, Gerrit, Maven, and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API Design and security modeling.
