Description

Act as the lead engineer for assigned domains, bridging the gap between architecture and implementation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Translate architectural designs into sprint-ready engineering tasks and provide technical guidance for nearshore teams.
• Own the delivery of domain-specific requirements to ensure alignment with solution architecture.
• Lead technical discussions regarding APIs, integrations, data flow, compliance, and security.
• Create and update technical documentation, including solution design patterns and engineering standards.
• Support Product and Engineering teams as a technical expert during demonstrations and discussions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Python and Spark.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Delta Lake Tables, and Spark execution models.
• Experience managing distributed compute jobs, partitioning strategies, caching, and broadcast joins.
• Direct experience with Azure Data Factory (orchestration) and Azure Event Hub (ingestion/event streaming).
• Ability to write optimized ETL pipelines and manage large-scale data transformations.
• Expertise in tuning pipelines within a production Azure environment.
• Experience acting as a lead developer for teams of at least 12 people.

Preferred Skills

• Strong knowledge of Azure, SQL, NoSQL, Java, Node, and SDKs.
