Description

Lead pre-sales technical engagements as a data subject matter expert, demonstrating product value to prospective customers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Illustrate product value and specific use cases to C-level executives, security engineers, and DevOps professionals.
• Drive technical presentations, demonstrations, and business conversations to support sales efforts.
• Handle objections and position solutions against competitive or alternative technologies.
• Design solutions for transitioning to new data pipelines to address customer needs.
• Support strategic initiatives to accelerate sales and scale the data business.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or Architect.
• Proficiency in code writing using C/C++, Shell, Perl, or Python.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Devo, QRadar, or Exabeam.
• Background in big data platforms, data lakes, or streaming analytics.
• Knowledge of log management and RegEx for writing parsers.
• Experience with cloud providers including AWS, Azure, or Google.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Skills

• BS/BA degree or equivalent technical experience.
