Description

You will lead technical pre-sales engagements, partnering with Account Executives to drive opportunities from qualification through close. You will design and demonstrate complex solutions using Twilio’s communications APIs, acting as a trusted technical advisor to customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-sales activities including opportunity qualification, Proof-of-Concept, RFP responses, and technical presentations.
• Design and present interactive product demonstrations that showcase Twilio’s capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Guide customers toward best-practice solutions by identifying technical pain points and mapping them to business outcomes.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the solutions engineering community through knowledge sharing and reusable materials.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products, or 10+ years in technical product support/consulting with customer-facing exposure.
• Proficiency in backend development (Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP) and web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Strong working knowledge of building and integrating with REST APIs.
• Experience in Telecom, SIP, Contact Center, or Customer Engagement domains.
• Proven ability to communicate complex topics clearly to diverse audiences and gain audience confidence.
• Familiarity with sales methodologies and experience at the Enterprise account level.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure) and cloud application architecture.
