Description

You will design complex software solutions and lead project teams through design, coding, testing, and integration. You will build automation tools for deployment and manage relationships with internal and outsourced development partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams through all stages of design, coding, testing, and integration for complex products.
• Design and document complex software solutions and build automation tools for their deployment.
• Manage relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design.
• Review designs and project activities to ensure compliance with development guidelines and mitigate failure risk.
• Mentor less experienced staff and provide domain-specific expertise to cross-organization programs.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of applicable work experience.
• 5+ years of experience working with the VMware software stack.
• Hands-on experience developing complex solutions and software systems architecture.
• Experience developing tools to automate the deployment of complex solutions.
• Experience with enterprise storage and networking infrastructure.
• Proficiency in multiple software systems design tools and languages.
• Ability to write and execute test plans, debugging processes, and testing scripts.
• Strong communication skills to present architectures and design proposals to senior management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware NSX-V and NSX-T.
• Experience with SmartNIC technology.
