Description

You will lead technical architecture initiatives across multiple value streams to ensure successful product deliveries.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Define Non-Functional Requirements (performance, availability, scalability, security) and integrate them into the design.
• Oversee architectural roadmaps, balancing feature development, technical debt reduction, and strategic objectives.
• Translate product requirements into high-level technical feasibility assessments, identifying risks and leading solution discussions.
• Establish architectural best practices and standards by partnering with stakeholders and mentoring teams.
• Guide engineering teams on architectural standards while collaborating with Agile execution teams across planning cycles.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of hands-on consumer-facing enterprise application development experience.
• 6+ years in architecture leading technical initiatives.
• Expert understanding of architectural methodologies and best practices.
• Significant design experience with server applications, including APIs, micro-services, containers, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency in distributed computing architectures, covering race conditions, parallelism, and concurrency control.
• Experience with modern API patterns, specifically RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline, GIT, and general DevOps principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Recognized ability to communicate complex technical designs clearly to business partners, leadership, and engineering staff.
• Experience with Agile execution and product/UX collaboration.
