Description

Support the SOX ITGC Program by ensuring effective controls across enterprise applications that support financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal assessments, walkthroughs, and audits to verify the design and operational effectiveness of IT General Controls.
• Monitor the control environment to ensure alignment with established policies, procedures, and control methodologies.
• Identify risks and gaps to facilitate remediation efforts for observations identified during annual 404 audits.
• Conduct risk-based analyses over system roles, permissions, configurations, and changes to support annual scoping.
• Review third-party vendor attestations and audit reports to provide feedback to business leaders and risk owners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of audit or assessment experience working with SOX, IcFR, and internal control design and operations.
• Deep knowledge of IT General Controls including Logical Access, Change Management, and Computer Operations.
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with GRC tools such as AuditBoard, Workiva, or RSA Archer.
• Familiarity with SaaS applications including NetSuite, Salesforce, and Workday.
• Familiarity with hosting platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Strong analytical, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CPA, PMI, PMP, ISO 27001 LA, or QSA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or a quantitative discipline.
