Description

Own the SOX ITGC program by ensuring effective controls across enterprise applications supporting financial reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform internal assessments, walkthroughs, and audits to verify IT General Control design and operational effectiveness.
• Monitor the control environment to ensure alignment with established policies and methodologies.
• Conduct risk-based analyses over system roles, permissions, configurations, and changes for annual scoping.
• Identify risks and gaps to facilitate remediation of observations from annual 404 audits.
• Review third-party vendor attestations and audit reports to provide feedback to business leaders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of audit or assessment experience with SOX, IcFR, and internal control design/operations.
• Deep knowledge of IT General Controls: Logical Access, Change Management, and Computer Operations.
• Experience with financial reporting and accounting concepts.
• Familiarity with GRC tools (AuditBoard, Workiva, or RSA Archer).
• Familiarity with SaaS applications (NetSuite, Salesforce, Workday).
• Familiarity with hosting platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Strong analytical, time management, and written/verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Industry certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CPA, PMI, PMP, ISO 27001 LA, or QSA.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Information Technology, or a quantitative discipline.
