Description

Lead the migration of Big Data workloads from Cascading and MapReduce to Spark 3.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conversion of legacy Cascading and MapReduce workloads to Spark 3.
• Migrate Big Data workloads to Kubernetes and Spark environments.
• Design new Kubernetes environments for data processing.
• Perform daily Scala code changes and conduct Scala code reviews within IntelliJ.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and Spark 3.
• Experience with MapReduce and Cascading.
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Proficiency using IntelliJ IDE for daily development.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
