You will build and maintain data accessibility on a Big Data Platform using Atomic Models and Analytical Data Stores.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and execute test plans to find solutions during development and post-deployment.
• Create high-level design artifacts for data modules.
• Deliver high-quality code and lead validation for all testing and implementation support activities.
• Develop and maintain data quality through rigorous test script and test case preparation.
• Collaborate with architects, scrum masters, and stakeholders within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Information Technology and the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• 3+ years of experience in project life cycle activities for development and maintenance.
• 2+ years of experience within the Hadoop ecosystem, specifically Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Scala, Spark, Sqoop, Flume, Kafka, and Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Unix shell scripting.
• 1+ year of experience in Relational Modeling, Dimensional Modeling, and modeling of unstructured data.
• Experience implementing end-to-end DW BI projects, specifically data warehouse and mart developments.
• Proficiency with Lean and Agile development methodologies.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
