Description

You will design data architectures, execute cloud migrations, and implement ETL pipelines using Apache Spark and AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design future-state data architectures and migration strategies for AWS environments.
• Review product launch environments and implement migration strategies to public or hybrid clouds.
• Develop new rules and jobs to support Operational Intelligence using Spark and Python.
• Configure alerting and monitoring systems for data pipelines to ensure data quality.
• Lead technical initiatives by writing and interpreting complex documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Spark.
• 10+ years of operations experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Hadoop, specifically Cloudera, Hive, and HDFS.
• 1-3 years of experience with Python or Scala.
• 1-3 years of experience as an AWS architect solving real-world system problems.
• 1-3 years of experience working in hybrid cloud environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting.
• Experience with Teradata and Informatica.
• Advanced proficiency in Tableau and data visualization.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Big Data or Solutions Architect certification.
• Data Governance experience.
