You will build and support scalable Big Data applications and modern web services in a software product environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain scalable Big Data applications using Python and Django.
• Develop backend services and APIs with Django Rest Framework.
• Manage data processing workflows using Hadoop, Spark, Hive, and Airflow.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple business and technical teams.
• Integrate new technologies to support product evolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of overall professional experience.
• 4+ years building and supporting scalable Big Data applications.
• Proficiency in Python and Django.
• Experience with Django Rest Framework.
• Hands-on experience with Spark, Hive, and Airflow.
• Knowledge of Hadoop technologies including YARN, HDFS, and Oozie.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting.
• Working knowledge of PL/SQL and NoSQL.
• Experience with Vuejs or similar UI frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with PySpark and the Spark Engine.
