Description

You will develop and optimize Spark applications and Python-based back-end features for SaaS platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and test Spark applications using Spark SQL.
• Implement, support, and fine-tune the Spark code base for performance optimization.
• Build efficient back-end features and integrate front-end components using Python.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define requirements and ensure software utility.
• Work with SRE engineers on application logging, monitoring, alerting, and security.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Spark SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of ETL processing and Apache Airflow.
• Advanced SQL execution and performance tuning skills.
• Experience building SaaS applications using domain-driven, event-driven, and microservices architectures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
