Specialist - Architecture, SME in Apigee Hybrid and Apigee OPDK Operations

You will serve as a subject matter expert for Apigee Hybrid and Apigee OPDK platform operations and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and set up Apigee clusters distributed across multiple data centers.
• Analyze incidents and coordinate with application owners to troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.
• Lead root cause analysis sessions to prevent recurring production problems.
• Perform system health checks, monitor anomalies, and ensure adherence to SLAs.
• Support and train developer teams on Apigee platform usage and onboarding.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in API Management and Gateway operations.
• Expert-level knowledge of Apigee Hybrid and Apigee OPDK.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift.
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation.
• Strong Unix/Linux and Shell Scripting skills.
• Experience with high availability, load balancing, and failover configurations.
• Cloud experience with API Gateways and microservices, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, and API Gateway patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
