Description

You will design, implement, and oversee QA strategies for distributed systems, acting as a subject matter expert for quality assurance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategies, testing methodologies, and quality KPIs aligned with organizational goals.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Participate in feature design to define test plans covering functional, business, usability, and accessibility scenarios.
• Monitor product quality health metrics, including test coverage and test-ability, and report on risks and mitigation.
• Mentor QA team members and drive skill development in automation, tools, and processes.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of experience in testing distributed systems with web-based front ends and backend web services.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java.
• Proven experience coding automation frameworks using TestNG and Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools including Git, Bitbucket, or SVN.
• Proficiency in SQL for database testing and data verification.
• Experience conducting performance testing.
• Experience installing software builds and managing configurations.
• Knowledge of Capital Markets, Trading, Fraud Detection, or Compliance domains.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with AWS and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Actimize AIS, RCM, and UDM tools.
• ISTQB or ISEB qualifications.
