Description

You will design and optimize Java microservices for search indexing, ranking, and analytics pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build backend systems for search indexing, metadata enrichment, and user behavior analytics.
• Develop ETL workflows using Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, and Python for data pipeline automation.
• Deploy services via AWS Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge.
• Implement GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with multi-stage deployments and automated testing.
• Lead API design reviews, code reviews, and maintain distributed tracing and structured logging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years backend engineering with Java 11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Deep experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, DynamoDB, S3, and API Gateway.
• Strong expertise in GitHub Actions for CI/CD and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and ETL pipeline development.
• Experience with Docker, Apache Airflow, and REST API engineering.
• Knowledge of distributed tracing, IAM security, and secrets management.
• Familiarity with AWS Glue, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, and CloudWatch.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with search indexing and ranking algorithms.
• Background in large-scale data analytics pipelines.
