You will manage the intake, review, and optimization of hardware and software/firmware releases within the WiFi network systems architecture.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Optimize the intake process for new hardware and software/firmware releases into the WiFi network architecture.
• Evaluate network architecture change implementation plans and develop Method of Procedures (MOPs).
• Track WiFi network release progress and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering and planning teams to refine handover and implementation procedures.
• Define intake requirements and templates for departmental submissions to Release Management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in wireless network support.
• Proficient knowledge of wireless networking concepts, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
• Hands-on experience with Wireless Access Gateways (WAG), AAA functions, WiFi controllers, firewalls, switches, routers, and access points.
• Deep understanding of WiFi network architecture, protocols, topology, and data center or cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with carrier-grade WiFi equipment from vendors such as Nokia, Cisco, Ericsson, or Ruckus.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
