Description

Lead the development of a Next-Generation Observability framework using Grafana for the WiFi organization while managing complex wireless network architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement wireless network architecture, enhancements, and complex network systems.
• Lead the creation of a Next-Generation Observability framework using Grafana.
• Perform wireless network planning, forecasting, and resource requirement identification.
• Integrate communication architectures, topologies, hardware, software, and signaling protocols into complete configurations.
• Evaluate new products and resolve wireless network technical issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in specialized wireless engineering.
• 5+ years of direct wireless network experience.
• Proficiency with Grafana for observability and monitoring.
• Deep knowledge of data wireless networking, including OSI Model and TCP/IP.
• Expertise in IEEE, ANSI, and 802.11 variants, including bridging, switching, routing, and Ethernet.
• Strong understanding of wireless network design, architecture, protocols, and topology.
• Hands-on experience with wireless network devices and appliances.
• Proficiency in network design software such as Visio and Microsoft Office.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Certified Wireless Network Professional (CCNP) certification.
• Vendor-specific training in Cisco, Arris, or Ruckus.
