Consult on complex, large-scale initiatives requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Establish and support a new FinOps function by collaborating with finance and infrastructure teams to optimize cloud and on-premises costs. Review multi-faceted challenges, ensuring alignment with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Drive project success through strategic collaboration with client personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize hybrid infrastructure costs across Azure and GCP.
• Implement automation scripts for billing models and cost insights.
• Contribute to the resolution of complex situations by analyzing compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with finance teams to establish FinOps processes.
• Develop AI-assisted automation for anomaly detection and cost optimization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
• Experience with cloud cost management, billing models, and optimization.
• Proven ability to optimize costs in Azure and GCP environments.
• Understanding of hybrid infrastructure cost structures.
• Experience with AI-assisted FinOps automation and anomaly detection.

Preferred Skills

• Background in establishing new FinOps functions from scratch.
