Description

You will establish and optimize a new FinOps function, managing hybrid infrastructure costs across Azure and GCP while collaborating with finance and engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize hybrid infrastructure costs across Azure and GCP environments.
• Implement automation scripts for billing models, cost insights, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with finance and infrastructure teams to establish FinOps processes and policies.
• Drive project success by resolving complex challenges and ensuring compliance requirements.
• Develop AI-assisted automation for cost optimization and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Specialty Software Engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting.
• Proven ability to optimize costs in Azure and GCP environments.
• Experience with cloud cost management, billing models, and optimization strategies.
• Understanding of hybrid infrastructure cost structures and compliance requirements.
• Experience with AI-assisted FinOps automation and anomaly detection.

Preferred Skills

• Background in establishing new FinOps functions from scratch.
• Experience with complex, large-scale planning initiatives.
