Description

Develop and maintain high-level Python platforms within Conda and Conda-Forge environments. You will review large-scale engineering challenges, apply in-depth analysis to resolve complex situations, and consult on initiatives with broad impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance high-level Python platforms focused on Conda/Conda-Forge ecosystems.
• Consult on complex initiatives requiring broad impact and large-scale planning.
• Review and analyze multifaceted, large-scale, or long-term software engineering challenges.
• Contribute to resolution of complex situations by applying in-depth evaluation of multiple factors.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to ensure platform engineering excellence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Specialty Software Engineering or equivalent demonstrated through work, training, or education.
• Proven experience with open source contributions to Conda-Forge and Pixi Package Manager.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD automation, platform engineering, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience establishing CI/CD patterns, IaC templates, and golden-path repositories.
• Knowledge of DevOps, GitOps (EPLX), and DORA metrics with a focus on Conda Python.
• Developing GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with IaC and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GitOps (EPLX) and DORA metrics.
• Knowledge of Pixi Package Manager.
