Lead complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives and long-term technical planning for a financial services client.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Consult on multi-faceted engineering challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of unprecedented factors.
• Drive the transition from Kafka to OpenShift Container Platform (OCP).
• Analyze and resolve complex technical situations while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Collaborate strategically with client personnel to meet project deliverables.
• Own the design and implementation of microservices-based architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java and Spring Boot.
• 10+ years of experience in Microservices architecture.
• 10+ years of experience in Unit Testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• 7 years of experience with REST APIs and Angular.
• 5+ years of experience with MongoDB, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
• 5+ years of experience with Kafka and Apigee.
• 5+ years of experience in banking, specifically within securities or investment management.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Cloud (PCF, Azure), and GitHub.
• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines including Jenkins, UCD/Harness, Blackduck, Checkmarx, and Sonar.
