Description

Provide diagnostic and therapeutic services for individuals with speech and communication disorders in Salisbury, MD.

Responsibilities

• Identify speech and communication difficulties, including congenital issues or acquired disorders from stroke or injury.
• Develop and deliver individualized treatment programs for one-to-one or group sessions.
• Monitor, evaluate, and revise treatment programs based on client progress.
• Advise carers and train other professionals on implementing therapy delivery.
• Manage a caseload by prioritizing urgent cases, managing waiting lists, and handling referrals and discharges.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Speech Language Pathology (SLP).
• Ability to assess the cause and nature of communication disorders.
• Experience in designing and executing clinical treatment plans.
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and case note management.
• Maintain confidential client case notes, reports, and documentation for caregivers and medical professionals.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree in a related field.
